Oils on canvas

I used my own photo of part of my front garden for a ref -
I just love these flowers that seem to go on all summer long.

I would rather LOOK AT YOUR gallery than just thank you for faving my work. So please excuse my bad manners if you fave or comment on my work, because I may not be thanking you. Instead I will be looking at your work!

Ah, I'd really love to have a hone with a garden like this one day, it looks really fun to tend gardens. Seeing plants grow....

It really is, but it's also fun to grow things in pots!

Very nice, Wendy! (I'm working on a painting with lots of flowers and trying with a palette knife but might end up with brushes. Recently have become attached to the knife - once a dislike, now the opposite!! My paintings are more aggressive with the knife!!)

I know just what you mean, the first time I used a knife I thought 'not for me' but now I love it. You can get such great texture with it and it has definitely freed me from worrying so much about detail - it's very liberating!
