This is quite a pale one but they vary a lot in colour.

Ha, ha, I think we must have found the same beautiful reference photo of this pale buzzard, I also painted him back in 2009!=D I did not get the proportions totally right though, so I have for a long time now thought about painting him again, because he is so beautiful! It is lovely to see another artists take on him! :happybounce:

I love the colours in your version - actually I like all your birds! Birds are definitely my favourite thing to paint and good references are worth a lot - I can't even remember where I found that one.
