I just love these little birds!

I would rather LOOK AT YOUR gallery than just thank you for faving my work. So please excuse my bad manners if you fave or comment on my work, because I may not be thanking you. Instead I will be looking at your work!

Thank you - I spent 10 months of last year on a tiny island in the Caribbean where these are the most common bird. I just love them!

It made me gasp to look at it. Your work is just stunning! - All of it... You are one of the, what I call "impressive" artists of the site.

That's really kind of you, but I'm just learning. I didn't start painting till I retired from work and I must admit that I do love it, but I also make plenty of mistakes. It's great for me to get such lovely feedback because I live in a very lonely part of France. Eventually I hope to be good enough to paint some of the beautiful landscape around me.

:wow: "just started"?!!! - I almost chocked to death on my pizza reading that!

All I've got to say is, if this is you the 'beginner', I can't WAIT to see your work down the road!!

Girl, you can paint ANYthing you set your mind to! I have no doubt about that!
Keep up the terrific work; I look forward to seeing more from you. - I'm very humbled by what I've just learned. :)!

Well, at the moment I'm knitting a lot because my first grandchild is expected in August. My most recent painting is for the nursery [link]

This is so simple but so amazing. The way you did the background makes everything pop, and the little bird is so cute. ♥

Thank you - I'm planning on this being the first of a series of 3 - each one being a bananaquit, but on different flowers.

I love these guys too :D There were a lot in St John! Your paintings are getting better and better, the 'quit here shows more detail and accuracy than some of your older paintings of birds :)

I hadn't either till I moved here last month, but they're a bit like the humming birds feeding on nectar from plants. Their other name is 'honeycreeper'
